2017-11-15 09:41:34

Jackpotjoy have unveiled English comedian and TV present Paddy McGuinness as the new face of Jackpotjoy. McGuiness will succeed the ‘Queen of Bingo’, actress Barbara Windsor, as Jackpotjoy’s sole brand ambassador. The Bolton funny man, who rose to fame as the presenter of ITV’s hit dating show ‘Take Me Out’, will assume the throne with immediate effect, becoming the new ‘King of Bingo’.

The New ‘King of Bingo’

The announcement came less than a week after Jackpotjoy launched their new ‘integrated advertising campaign’ which aims to build brand awareness through social media and TV content. The first adverts featuring Paddy McGuinness began airing on Thursday, September 14th. Paddy can be seen giving his house a royal makeover as he prepares to take on the new mantle of the ‘King of Bingo’. He prepares his house by embellishing it with royal-themed items and even has his own version of the corgi dog, a whippet. McGuiness invites the ‘Queen of Bingo’, Barbara Winsor, into her home to show off his royal wears before she grants him her royal blessings.

Speaking of the advert and his new role McGuinness said: “What a thrill to be Jackpotjoy’s new royal ambassador and be a part of this fantastic campaign. Bingo is in my blood. My mum used to work in the local bingo halls around Bolton and it’s a game that this country loves. As you’ll see in the advert, it was an emotional moment for me to receive the final endorsement for the legendary Barbra Windsor.”
